E-Coat

Every Inch. Every Edge.

About E-Coat

Using an electrical charge, e-coat draws a protective coating across the entire conductive surface of a part, reaching edges, corners, and recessed areas with consistent coverage. At Seaver Finishing, we pair that capability with a high-speed line built to keep production moving.

Step #1

Parts are loaded onto our overhead monorail conveyor.

Step #2

After a zinc phosphate pretreatment, parts enter our 14,000-gallon e-coat tank.

Step #3

An electrical charge draws coating onto the conductive surface, including hard-to-reach areas.

Step #4

Parts are then rinsed, cured and prepared for packaging.
